There is absolutely no differences between the two versions, only different artwork. The pyramid artwork was for the 1975 American release of Empty Sky, which was released as Elton John became better-known here. The first album of Elton's to be released in the States was his self-titled album.

I love this song; I love this album. At this time Elton concentrated just on the music and didn´t give a damn if it would be a commercial success. He just sang and played what he wanted. A completeley underrated album.
